CASCADE LOCK · TECHNICIAN REFERENCE

Professional access terms

Effective October 18, 2026. These terms govern access to Cascade Lock’s restricted Technician Reference section. Read them before applying. Your affirmative acceptance is recorded with your application.

1. Eligibility and administrator approval

Access is limited to adult licensed locksmith professionals whose identity, professional credentials and legally required licenses have been verified and approved by Cascade Lock’s website administrator. A company must identify each individual user. A certification does not replace a license required by the relevant jurisdiction. Applying, registering or paying does not guarantee approval. Maintain accurate information and promptly report credential expiration, suspension, loss or changes in employer or account ownership.

2. One approved person per account

Permission is personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable and revocable. Only the named approved user may use the account and reference materials for lawful professional work. Do not share passwords, sessions, accounts, PDFs, screenshots, downloads or restricted technical information with an unauthorized person or company, including coworkers. Each additional user requires separate approval and an account. Resale, sublicensing, public posting, bulk downloading, scraping, automated extraction, circumventing access controls and using restricted materials to train or supply an AI system are prohibited without prior written permission.

3. Lawful and responsible professional use

Verify a customer’s identity, ownership or authority before performing locksmith work. Comply with applicable laws, licensing rules, manufacturer procedures and safety requirements. Never use the library to facilitate theft, unauthorized entry, fraud or unlawful bypass of security systems. Keep login details secure; promptly report suspected sharing, compromise or unauthorized access. Do not store customer personal information in this library.

4. Ownership and permitted reference use

Cascade Lock and relevant third-party rights holders retain their intellectual property rights. Access does not transfer ownership or grant broader redistribution rights. View materials and, where a download is expressly provided, retain copies solely for your own authorized professional reference during approved access, subject to third-party rights. Do not remove attribution. Stop using and delete retained restricted copies when permission ends, except records required by law.

5. Suspension, revocation and review

Cascade Lock may deny, suspend or revoke access for a violation of these terms, false or unverifiable application information, credential problems, suspected account compromise, nonpayment, unlawful conduct or risk to people, property, systems or rights. Immediate suspension without advance notice may be necessary to address security concerns. Cascade Lock may investigate, request renewed verification and preserve relevant records. You may contact us to request review; reinstatement is not guaranteed. Termination stops permission to use the materials. Billing cancellation and any refund remain subject to the applicable published policy and law.

6. Technical information and responsibility

References may contain errors, omissions, outdated specifications or regional differences. Independently verify vehicle, key, tool, procedure and safety information against current manufacturer documentation. No result, compatibility, completeness or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness or noninfringement. The professional remains responsible for their work and authorization.

7. Liability and third-party claims

To the extent permitted by law, Cascade Lock is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or data arising from library use. Its aggregate liability relating to this service is limited to membership fees you paid to Cascade Lock during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protections for fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence. To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Cascade Lock against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use, unauthorized disclosure or material breach, excluding claims attributable to Cascade Lock’s own wrongful conduct.

8. Changes and general terms

We may update the service and terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice and renewed consent where required; changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce one violation is not a waiver. These terms do not override mandatory law or statutory rights. Contact Cascade Lock for written permissions or a review of an access decision.
