Application privacy notice

Effective October 18, 2026. This notice covers technician applications and professional access. Other website features and service inquiries may require additional privacy disclosures.

Information and purpose

We collect the legal business and professional names, address, phone, email, credential details and verification link you submit, your consent record, application status and administrator review history. We use these to verify professional eligibility, manage individual access, prevent misuse, provide support and meet legal obligations. Necessary session cookies support sign-in and form security. Our form uses a short-lived hashed submission identifier for abuse prevention.

Who receives it

Authorized Cascade Lock administrators and service providers operating hosting, security and membership systems may process it for these purposes. Credential issuers may receive the minimum details needed for verification. Payment providers process payment information separately when payments are enabled; do not submit card data here. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect rights and security. We do not sell application information or use it for advertising.

Storage and your choices

Applications are kept in a private administrator queue rather than public pages or media uploads. We keep information while needed for application review, active access, security, disputes or legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it under our retention practices; backups may persist until their normal rotation. You may request access, correction, withdrawal or deletion by contacting us. Some records must be retained for legal or security purposes. Withdrawing required verification information may prevent or end access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Do not upload identity documents, customer records or unnecessary sensitive information. Applicants must be 18 or older. Material privacy changes will be communicated as required by law.
