Accessible entry · Installation & service
Make the door easier to use.
Cascade Lock installs and services automatic door openers, low-energy swing door operators, and push-to-open buttons for easier entry and exit. We coordinate the operator, locking hardware, and activation controls so the opening works as one system.
- Powered door operators: automatic opening for compatible entrances, offices, shared spaces, and accessible routes.
- Push plates & touchless switches: wired or wireless activation, wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted where appropriate.
- Battery-operated options: wireless battery-powered buttons and selected battery/regenerative operators for suitable doors and traffic patterns.
- Repair & adjustment: troubleshoot a door that will not activate, opens inconsistently, or fails to close and latch.

ADA accessibility starts with the whole opening.
We help identify hardware solutions that support ADA accessibility, considering control location, clear floor space, door swing, opening force, timing, and safe exit. A push button alone does not establish compliance. Battery-powered activation also does not mean the entire opening operates without wired power; we confirm the operator, lock, and backup requirements for your project.
Access control that fits your building
One door or a connected property.
The best system is one your team can manage comfortably. We help compare the hardware, everyday operation, and ongoing costs.
Standalone keyless entry
Simple keypad or credential-based locks can suit an office, storeroom, or a small group of doors.
Wireless & cloud management
Supported wireless locks and platforms can help manage permissions across doors without visiting each lock for every change.
Wired controlled entry
Readers, controllers, power supplies, and compatible electrified hardware form a complete controlled-entry opening.
The door still matters
Smart access needs a door that works.
We assess door alignment, latching, closers, and exit requirements along with the reader and controller. Reliable electronic entry depends on the mechanical opening beneath it.
- Confirm the door type, existing lock, and required function.
- Select compatible electrified hardware and credentials.
- Review power, network, and management requirements.
- Test access, closing, latching, and authorized operation together.
The hardware behind reliable entry
More than a reader on the wall.
Readers & credentials
Choose cards, fobs, codes, or supported mobile credentials. Existing credentials must match the reader and platform.
Electric strikes
Compatible strikes allow an access system to release the latch. Door preparation, lock type, and operating function determine the right fit.
Magnetic locks & electrified locks
Magnetic locks, electrified locks, and exit devices need the appropriate release, power, and egress design for the opening.
Connect the complete opening
The right parts, working together.
We explain what each component does and select compatible equipment around your door, users, and exit requirements.
Electric latch retraction & panic devices
A motorized exit device retracts its latch when authorized access is granted. With compatible controls, it can release before an automatic operator opens the door. We install and service electrified panic bars and coordinate normal exit operation.
Controllers, hubs & access software
Door controllers and supported wireless gateways connect readers, locks, and management software. Set individual permissions, schedules, and access event records according to the selected platform.
Power supplies & battery backup
Correct voltage, current capacity, power transfer hardware, and backup planning keep components compatible. We review expected behavior during power loss and network outages.
Door contacts & request-to-exit
Door position sensors report open or closed status. Request-to-exit buttons or sensors provide the appropriate exit signal; the required release arrangement depends on the lock and opening.
Operators, closers & safety sensors
Automatic door operators, activation switches, door closers, and required safety sensors must work with the lock. We address alignment, closing speed, and reliable latching alongside electronic entry.
Door wiring & electrified hardware
Power transfer hinges or loops, cabling, electrified locksets, and compatible strikes complete the connection. Magnetic lock installations require a specifically designed release and egress arrangement.
Fire-rated openings, emergency release, and fire alarm interfaces require project-specific review and coordination with applicable authorities and trades.

CCTV & security camera installation and service
See more. Find the moment that matters.
Cascade Lock installs and services security camera systems for entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and business interiors. We plan visibility, recording, and everyday use together.
- Cameras: indoor/outdoor dome and bullet cameras, panoramic views, and PTZ options where appropriate.
- Recording: network video recorders (NVRs), supported cloud storage, and video management software (VMS).
- Infrastructure: PoE switches, cabling, network connectivity, mounts, and backup power requirements.
- Service: troubleshoot offline cameras, poor images, recording issues, and supported remote viewing.
Coverage depends on mounting, lighting, distance, and camera selection. Retention depends on storage and recording settings. We discuss privacy, user permissions, and subscription costs during planning.
Intercom installation, repair & upgrades
Welcome visitors. Keep control of entry.
From a single business entrance to an apartment building, Cascade Lock helps connect visitor communication with the right door release.
- Video & audio intercoms: entrance stations, cameras, microphones, speakers, and indoor answering stations.
- Apartment & multifamily entry: tenant directories, call routing, and supported phone or app answering.
- Remote door release: connect a compatible intercom to an electric strike, electrified lock, or access controller.
- Service & modernization: assess existing wiring, call quality, release faults, and compatible replacement options.

Security systems & connected alerts
Bring doors, video, and alerts into the same plan.
Ask Cascade Lock about installing and servicing compatible security system components: intrusion alarm panels or hubs, door/window contacts, motion detectors, glass-break sensors, keypads, sirens, and panic or duress buttons. We assess how supported devices can work with your access and video systems.
We clarify equipment compatibility, notification workflows, connectivity, and any third-party monitoring or licensing requirements before you choose a system.

Good questions
Plan it with confidence.
Can you install or repair an ADA door opener and push button?
Yes. Cascade Lock installs and services compatible automatic door operators and activation controls. We assess the complete opening, including the door, closer, lock, activation location, power, and required safety features.
Are battery-powered automatic door openers available?
Selected operators use battery or regenerative power for suitable applications. Wireless push buttons may also use batteries while the operator itself uses wired power. Door traffic and operating frequency help determine the right arrangement.
Can you service CCTV cameras and apartment intercoms?
Yes. Tell us the manufacturer, model, and symptoms. We assess compatible camera, recording, intercom, and door-release equipment, then explain repair or replacement options.
Can we upgrade the system we already have?
Send the current platform, controller, reader, and lock details. We can assess the opening and discuss compatible repair or upgrade options.
Can doors and cameras work together?
Supported platforms can connect access events and video. Integration depends on the equipment, software, and licensing selected for the project.
What happens if the power or internet fails?
Operation depends on the controller, lock, network, and backup power design. We review the required entry and exit behavior and the selected system’s offline capabilities during planning.
What should we send for an assessment?
Include your address, door count, photos of both sides of each opening, existing system details, and the access or visibility goals you want to achieve.
